Counted from the production graph on 11 August 2026, not estimated. Singapore's transport authority has built 232 km of covered linkway. We measure 1,236 km, because most of the roof was never built as shelter — void decks, the arcades the planning code requires downtown, the five-foot ways ordered across the shophouses in 1822. No register holds all of it, so we built one.

Shelter-aware routing weighs every covered walkway, void deck, underpass and mall corridor against the open pavement, so the route you get is the one that keeps you under cover rather than the one that is merely shortest.

Coway Map is built on open geospatial data from Singapore's public agencies and the OpenStreetMap community. Every shelter classification records the source it came from, and you can correct one from inside the app. An agency registers what it built; the rest of the roof is only ever confirmed by someone who has walked under it.
